Genesis of Entrepreneurship: Where Every Successful Business Has a Beginning.

Most business ideas fail before they ever start—not because the concept was weak, but because the founder lacked a room to test it in. We close that gap. Genesis of Entrepreneurship is a premium ecosystem where ambitious founders, seasoned operators, and aspiring entrepreneurs converge to turn raw instinct into scalable, revenue-generating reality. Under the direct mentorship of veteran investor and corporate leader Roger Orozco, we leverage 25+ years of cross-industry business mastery to help you build, pitch, and grow with absolute certainty.

Driven by Purpose. Built on Core Value Pillars.

True venture growth requires more than just networking—it requires continuous education, radical collaboration, and actionable market intelligence. Our entire platform is anchored by three essential ecosystems engineered to support you at every stage of your journey.

🤝 The Entrepreneurship Club

Collaborate to grow. This is your monthly strategic war room. We connect founders across the globe to pitch concepts live, challenge weak strategies, and receive raw, constructive feedback from operators who have already raised money and made payroll.

📚 Genesis Academy

Educate to scale. Accelerate your entrepreneurial mastery through our premium digital vault. For $19/month, members unlock instant access to video masterclasses, comprehensive frameworks, download-and-keep slide templates, and exclusive strategic guides.

🌍 Global Data Insights

Validate with facts. We eliminate guesswork by grounding our ecosystem in authoritative global research, including the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM). By backing your operational instincts with data spanning over 50 economies, we help you spot emerging macroeconomic trends.

No membership fees, no pitch decks required to attend, no gatekeeping by industry or how far along you are. Just one room, once a month, where the idea you're sitting on finally gets tested.

49%
of people who see a good business opportunity say they wouldn't act on it, out of fear of failure.
67%+
of U.S. entrepreneurs cite limited job options as a motivation for starting a business.
6.6%
of U.S. adults run an established, mature business — below the average across high-income economies.
35%
of entrepreneurs worldwide now align their venture with a sustainability or social-impact goal.

Figures drawn from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor 2024/2025 Global Report and the GEM United States 2024–2025 Report. This is exactly the gap the club exists to close: connection, mentorship, and a place to test an idea before fear of failure closes the door on it.

Bring your idea to people who've built one before.

Founder, Genesis of Entrepreneurship

Roger Orozco

Roger Orozco is the founder of Genesis of Entrepreneurship, bringing over 25 years of experience across business, construction, real estate, and project leadership to the community. He built it to give entrepreneurs — first-time founders and seasoned operators alike — a consistent, global space to share ideas, ask for honest feedback, and support one another's growth.

Roger earned his bachelor's degree in Finance and International Business from Old Dominion University and later completed his MBA at Regent University, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. That combination of finance, global business, and entrepreneurial study shapes how the club approaches feedback: practical, numbers-aware, and focused on what actually moves a business forward.

Beyond the club, Roger has served as a board director for a number of institutions. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau (BBB) serving Virginia and for Coastal Mortgage Company, where he has helped shape strategy, vision, and leadership at the board level. He also serves as Executive of Asset Management for Bishard Homes, a real estate company, where he sets strategic direction for the commercial and residential asset management portfolio and sits on the company's executive team. He is additionally the founder of both Just One Opportunity and Orozco Venture Corporation.

What we celebrate here

A success story isn't only "I sold the company." It's any real step forward a member can point to and say the club played a part in it. This page exists to make those moments visible — for the person who earned them, and for the next member who needs proof it's possible.

  • A launch — the idea you pitched in the group finally went live.
  • A first sale or a growth milestone — revenue, a new hire, or a number that moved.
  • A connection made in the room — a co-founder, an investor, a mentor, a first customer.
  • A hard pivot — feedback from the group changed the direction of the business, for the better.

Share your story

If the club played a part in a milestone, we'd like to feature it here — with your permission.

Thank you — your story has been recorded. We'll follow up before anything is featured publicly.

This page grows one milestone at a time.

The club is early, so there's nothing to show off just yet — that's the honest truth. As members reach the moments listed above, their stories will replace the placeholders below.

  • Agree to the club's Community Respect Policy and follow it in every session.
  • Make a reasonable effort to attend the monthly session, or give notice when you can't.

Community Values

The Respect Policy every member agrees to when they join.

This club works because people feel safe enough to share a half-formed idea and hear the truth about it. Every member — founder, first-timer, mentor — is expected to hold these standards in every session and every conversation that grows out of it.

Respect every background

Members come from different industries, countries, and stages of business. Treat every idea and every person with the same respect, regardless of experience level.

Critique the idea, not the person

Feedback should be honest and specific. Attack weaknesses in a business plan, never the character or ability of the person presenting it.

Keep it confidential

What's shared in a session — ideas, numbers, personal circumstances — stays within the club unless the member gives explicit permission to share it elsewhere.

Share the floor

One monthly session isn't much time. Keep pitches and comments focused so every member who wants feedback gets a fair chance to be heard.

No harassment or discrimination

Harassment, discriminatory remarks, or predatory behavior toward any member is not tolerated, in sessions or in any follow-up contact between members.

No unsolicited selling

This is a community, not a lead list. Don't use the group or member contact information to pitch products or services without being asked.

How this is enforced: a member who violates this policy will first receive a direct conversation about the behavior. A repeated or serious violation — including harassment, discrimination, or breach of confidentiality — results in removal from the club.

Meetings

How and when the group gets together.

Current format

One session a month, open to the whole club.

The club currently meets virtually so members anywhere in the world can take part. As the group grows, additional regional or in-person meetups may be added.
